71, of West Bloomfield, died May
10. Mrs. Olshansky was a past mem-
ber of Congregation Beth Achim
and its choir, was a grand opera
singer and sang with the Detroit
Opera, a past volunteer at Detroit
public schools and a member of
Hadassah and Women's American
ORT.
Mrs. Olshansky is survived by her
husband, Leonard Olshansky; sons
and daughter-in-law, Martin and
Valerie Olshansky of Scottsdale,
Sheldon Olshansky of Scottsdale;
daughter and son-in-law, Teri
Olshansky Roberts and Gregory
Roberts of Livonia; grandchildren,
Tyler and Cameron Olshansky, Hal-
ley and Devon Roberts; sisters, Irene
Turbow of Farmington Hills, Rose
Diem of Southfield.

BERNARD D. OSNOS, 90, former
Detroiter of Miami Beach, died
April 28.
He is survived by his son, Sam;

grandchildren.
TOBY RUBENSTEIN, 96, of
Windsor, died May 2.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Alfred and Bev-
erly Rubenstein of Bloomfield Hills;
daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and
Harry Shumaker of West Bloom-
field, Shirley and Elliot Swartz of
Lauderhill, Fla.; grandchildren,
Jonathan and Maryann Rubenstein,
Robert Rubenstein, Lawrence and
Susan Rubenstein, Robert and Mar-
sha Skollar, Gary and Judith Hol-
land, William and Julie Swartz,
Robert Swartz; 13 great-grandchil-
dren. She was the beloved wife of
the late Matthew David Rubenstein.

CECELIA "CELE" Z. SANDLER,
85, of West Bloomfield, died May
10.
She is survived by her brothers

MELVIN VANDUREN, 84, of
Southfield, died May 10. Mr. Van-
Duren was a former vice president
and buyer for Grossman's Depart-
ment Store in Muskegon and for 30
years was a sales consultant for Clark
Food Products.
He is survived by his daughters
and sons-in-law, Libby and Arthur
White of West Bloomfield, Sarah
and Howard Jacobson of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Tami and
Gregg Schultz, Lindsay Jacobson and
Todd Adelson, Mackenzie White;
brother and sister-in-law, Donald
and Opal VanDuren of Holland; sis-
ter, Maryann Alberts of Minnesota.
Mr. VanDuren was the beloved hus-
band of the late Lee VanDuren.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

DANIEL LEE WALDMAN, 63, of
Farmington Hills, died May 7. Mr.
Waldman was an accountant, earn-
ing his accounting degree from the
Detroit Institute of Technology. He
was a member of the Farmington
Optimist and Farmington Rotary
Clubs. He was also a member of the
Radomer Society and a sergeant sta-
tioned in Canada during the Korean
conflict.
Mr. Waldman is survived by his
wife, Brenda Waldman; sons and
daughter-in-law, David and Dawn
Waldman of Chandlier, Ariz., Eric
Waldman of Farmington Hills, Marc
Waldman of Farmington Hills;
daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Stacey
