been working for months on
details for an activity-packed
weekend May 15-17.
"There is something for
everyone, all weekend lorig," said
Blanche Mindlin,
coordinator of the
celebration.
In honor of its
chavurah beginnings,
the temple will kick
off the weekend with
a family service
Friday, May 15, at
which special honors
will be given to the
ushers who have
served the congrega-
tion from the begin-.

Saturday, May 16, is
dinner-dance featur-
ing singing by Orthea
Barnes and catering
by Matt Prentice. A
raffle, with prizes
including a cruise

place during the
evening.
A congregational
family picnic featuring food,
games and other entertainment
will take place on the temple
grounds Sunday, May 17 and is
hosted by the Golden Branch,
the Sisterhood, the Brotherhood,
the Net and the Youth Group
raffle, with a ran
Beanie. Babies,
light of the picnic. Guests are',
asked to bring food for donation
to area pantries.
"It is our way of gi - ving back
to the community for all we have
been given," Mindin said.
