To: Chad Mitchell
From: Lauri Schwalb of
West Bloomfield

His name is Chad Mitchell
Schwalb. He is my son, born June
12. Each night when he is sleep-
ing, I look at him and feel very
proud.
While playing ice hockey twice
weekly, attending Hebrew and pub-
lic school, doing homework, play-
ing with his friends and fighting
with his little brother, Cameron,
Chad still finds time each month to
ask, "Mom, when are we going
again to the shelter?" Chad and I
go monthly to shelters for abused
women and their children. This
month, we also begin volunteering
for Gilda's Club. What more could
I wish for on Mother's Day? My 9-
yea r-o I d son has a heart of gold.
Thanks for all your caring, Chad. I
love you.
