A life- long Zionist, Mr. Baker served as vice president of the Metro Detroit Zionist Organization and was a member of ZOA's national executive committee. Members of the National Board of CLAL, the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, Mr. and Mrs. Baker maintained a close friendship with CLAUS founder, The Bakers Rabbi Irving Greenberg., Beverly Baker is a past presidium member of the Brandeis University's National Women's Committee, a former member of the Women's Department of the Jewish Federation, a vice president of the Metro Detroit ZOA.
