lowed by dinner at 8 p.m. Saturday
services begin at 9 a.m. followed by
lunch at 11:45 a.m. Minchah at 8
p.m. will be followed by Se'udah

Project Heads

Pearlena Bodzin and Robert Roth have
been, appointed as co-chairs for the syn-
agogue's Torah
writing project,
Torahtaynu. This
project has been
undertaken to
honor the memory
of Abram
Rabinovitz of
blessed memory,
who devoted his
life to Torah and
Pearlena Bodzin
served as Torah
reader for
Congregation
B'nai Moshe for
45 years.
Both are past
presidents of the
congregation and
serve on the board
of directors. In
addition, Bodzin is Robert Roth
active in many
metro Detroit
community projects and inter-denomi
national activities. She is the president
of the Ecumenical Institute for Jewish-
Christian Studies. Roth is active in
Hillel and the Jewish Theological
Seminary.

Jewish Council
Shabbat Service

The Grosse Pointe Jewish Council will
hold a Shabbat evening service 8 p.m.
Friday, May 15, at the Grosse Pointe
Unitarian Church. The service will
highlight the value and importance of
relationships in our lives.
Rabbi Nicholas Behrmann and lay
Cantor Roger Skully will lead the ser-
vice, which will include a blessing of
several engaged couples in the member-
ship.
The Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church
is located at 17150 Maumee, two blocks
east of Cadieux and one block north of
Jefferson.
