Corporation, and Jcare, Inc. will hold the annual meeting of their
membership on Wednesday, June 10, 1998 at 5:30 p.m. at the Harriet
and Ben Teitel Federation Apartments, 15106 W. Ten Mile Road, Oak
Park, Michigan for the purpose of electing members of the Board of

In accordance with the bylaws other qualified persons may be
nominated for election by a petition signed by not less than fifty (50)
, members of the corporation and filed with Marsha Goldsmith Kamin,
Executive Director, not less than ten (10) days prior to the date of the
Annual Meeting. Only one (1) person may be nominated by each such
petition and no nomination shall be valid unless the nominee shall
have consented to such nomination.

Michigan Region B'nai B'rith Youth
Organization will hold its annual
Election Training Conclave (ETC),
Friday, May 8-10 at Camp Maas.
Weekend activities will include an
oneg on Friday night, Shabbat ser-
vices, programs on leadership, job
training for newly elected chapter
officers, senior dedication for gradu-
ating members, a dance on Saturday
night with a DJ by Living Energy
and election of AZA and BBG
regional officers on Sunday.
Coordinators for this program are
Matt Barbas of Jolson AZA and Julie
Levin of Ruach BBG.

SZ Women
Conduct Service

The Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Sisterhood will celebrate its 18th
annual Sisterhood Shabbat at the
Southfield campus on Saturday, May
30. Sisterhood members will conduct

the entire service with the liturgy
being chanted by Ruthe Goldstein,
Ilana Ben Z'ev, Miriam Goldberg
and Marjorie Saulson.
Torah readers will be Betsy Wolf,
Karen Katz, Liz Tam, Judie Blu-
meno, Debbie Balkin, Marcia Box-
man, Ronnie Ticschler Robinson and
Joanne Robinson. Elaine Resnick will
chant the Haftorah. Ruthe Gold-
stein, sisterhood president, will deliv-
er the address. Linda Lublin, presi-
dent of Michigan Branch Women's
League for Conservative Judaism,
will offer greetings.

Carol Tarica and Adelle Staller (Beth
Achim), Judie Blumeno and Debbie
Balkin (Shaarey Zedek); treasurer,
Bernice Friedman (Shaarey Zedek);
secretaries Ann Emerson (Beth
Tephilath Moses, Mt. Clemens),
Beverly Yost and Rachel Maisel (Adat
Shalom) and Sherri Peller (Beth
Israel, Ann Arbor).
