officer.
Mr. Rochlin, an engineer by train-

"Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai-Grandfa-
ther of the Kabbalah" will be the
topic of the next Detroit Jewish Judi-
cial Seminar 12:15 p.m. Wednesday,
May 13, in the Riverside Conference
Room 700A of the Detroit
City/County Building. The luncheon,
led by Rabbi Herschel Finman, will be
a look at the Zohar, Judaism's Book of
Splendor, which is the basis of the
modern day Kabbalah. Kosher lunch

Dr. Ronald Goldman, author of Cir-
cumcision: The Hidden Trauma and
Questioning Circumcision: A Jewish
Perspective, will speak at 3 p.m. Sun-
day, May 17, at the Birmingham Tem-
ple.
Dr. Goldman will speak on the psy-
chological, cultural and religious
aspects of infant male circumcision.
He is a psychologist, educator and the
executive director of the Circumcision
Resource Center in Boston. Free
