Dow, 0-0„,e HARMONY from page 30 Jewish-Christian studies are impor- tant today. Even now, in a world where cultures are integrated and reli- gions mingled, there are still people who cannot get along because they are afraid or because they don't under- stand. People like the Rev. Mark Jensen and a group like the Ecumeni- cal Institute of Jewish-Christian Stud- les are working to show these people the light and help them step out of the darkness. But these people need more help. One man, one group, even one nation alone cannot change the world. The whole planet needs to be able to change. That means that you, your friends, your family and every person you ever met has to work together. Every stranger you pass on the street, not to mention the billions of people you never meet. No small task for a planet that can barely compromise on pizza toppings. To get people to agree on something like religion seems impossible, but we must agree just as we must cooperate. Tell your friends and tell them to spread the news. People are not Jewish or Christian, Hindu or Buddhist; they are human. To solve Jewish-Christian probleins we must give names to the nameless masses. Each person has a life and a reli- gion; remember that they are entitled to both. ❑ \0311• 11er s SuKda9, Ma9 10 , t?te.
