• rescued over 300,000 children.
• been associated with 25 Youth Villages.
• provided housing, counseling and training
for disadvantaged Israeli children as well as
underprivileged children from around the
world.

• the Hadassah Career Counseling Institute has
directed applicants to more than 400 different
occupations.
• the Hadassah College of Technology has
grown to ten departments, ranging from hotel
and restaurant management to dental
technology, with an enrollment of over 1000
students annually.

• established the first medical, nursing and dental
schools in Israel.
• opened the first complete cancer care center and
Hospice.
• created the first bone marrow transplant unit.
• established the first burns unit and skin bank.
• developed a state-of-the-art trauma unit.
• become the largest private employer in Israel.

participated in the Year Course program in Israel.
• more than 50,000 children have participated in
summer camp programs in the United States.

Israel into areas for farming, housing,
industry and recreation.

Hadassah is a community of women working together to
ensure a strong and vibrant Israel, to outreach to the local
community in need and to advocate on issues of
concern to women and Jews in America.
