died April 17.

\_ SAMUEL KOVAN, 89, of Farming-
/i ton Hills, died April 20. For over 55
years, Mr. Kovan was a real estate and
probate attorney who retired four year
ago. He was a past president of Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek from 1967-
1969, trustee of Skillman Foundation
for over 20 years and a graduate of
Detroit College of Law.
He is survived by his wife of 64
\ years, Dorothy Kovan; son and
daughter-in-law, Charles and Peggy
Kovan of El Paso, Texas; daughter,
Sherry Louise Robins of LaJolla,
Calif.; grandchildren, Aaron and
Jonathon Kovan, Jeffrey and David
Robins; sister-in-law, Ruth Kovan.
Mr. Kovan was the dear brother of
the late Coleman Kovan and the late
Lillian Sarko.
Interment at Clover Hill Park

DR.MARTIN SIDNEY LINDE, 54,
former Detroiter of Atlanta, Ga., died
• April 12. Dr. Linde graduated from
Mumford High School, Highland
Park Community College and the
Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.
He practiced in Detroit from 1972-
1984, when he moved to Atlanta and
opened two podiatric clinics. Dr.
Linde was a member of the American
College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons,
a trustee of the Georgia Podiatric
9Medical Association and director of
residency training at Vencor/Atlanta
Hospital. He served as chief podiatric
consultant to the Georgia Medicaid
Board; he also modified the surgical
implement known as the Linde/Rag-
nel Retractor. He was an active volun-
teer for the Anti-Defamation League,
B'nai B'rith, the Atlanta Lodge, Tern-
ple Israel in Detroit and Temple Sinai
in Atlanta.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara
Gelb Linde of Atlanta; daughter, Jen-
nifer Linde and her fiance, Julian Ber-
nick of Minneapolis, Minn.; daugh-
ter, Melissa Linde of Atlanta; sister
Marilynn Linde Flusty; brother-in-
law, Maynard Flusty of West Bloom-
field; their children, Michele and
Marc Borovoy, Mark and Brenda
Flusty; brother Dr. Harold Linde; sis-
ter-in-law, Dr. Marilyn Linde of
Tampa, Fla. and their child, Tessa
Linde. He was the loving son of the
late Gertrude and Samuel.
Graveside services were held at
Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy
Springs. Contributions may be made
to the Temple Sinai Endowment
Fund, 5645 Dupree Drive, Atlanta,
GA 30327-4399, or to a charity of

FRANK MULIVOR, 85, of West
Bloomfield, died April 15. Mr.
Mulivor was a former vice president
of Macy's Department Stores. He
attended Princeton University on an
athletic and academic scholarship and
earned his bachelor of arts degree
from Temple University. He was a
world-class sprinter and was in the
1932 Olympics, a member of Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek and was very
active with Score.
He is survived by his wife, Edythe
Mulivor; daughter and son-in-law,
Lynn and Stan Leeb of New Jersey;
sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence
and Eleanor Jackier of West Bloom-
field, Dr. Martin and Susan Jackier of
Boulder, Colo., Robert Jackier of
Rochester; daughter-in-law, Evelyn
Mulivor of Philadelphia; grandchil-
dren, Scott and Liz Leeb, Seth Leeb,
Aaron Mulivor, Rachel Mulivor, Ari-
ana Jackier, Seth Jackier, Lisa Jackier,
Tracey Jackier and Sarah Joann Jacki-
er. He was the loving father of the late
Dr. Richard Mulivor.
Interment in Pennsylvania. Contri-
