Rebecca Michelle Goldberg of
Bloomfield Hills will be bat mitzvah at
Temple Beth El on Saturday, April 18.
Rabbi Daniel Syme, Rabbi David
Castiglione and Cantor Stephen
Dubov will lead the services.
Participating in the ceremony will
be Rebecca's parents, Anne and Pete,
and her little sister, Amy. Proud
grandparents are Luba and Idel
Izraelewicz, Sonja Goldberg. Rebecca
also is the granddaughter of the late
Samuel Goldberg.
Becca is a student at East Hills
Middle School.
She loves com-
puters and art,
riding her bike
and listening to
music.
Becca took
great pride in
preparing and
serving food at
the COTS
homeless shel-
ter for her
mitzvah pro-
ject. She is requesting a non-perishable
food item be donated by those attend-
ing her reception, which her family
will distribute to a local shelter. In her
honor, food baskets will be placed on
the bimah in place of traditional flow-
ers. In addition, Becca assisted in re-
establishing the library at the Glazer
School.

Matthew attends Orchard Lake
Middle School and his major interests
are music, dancing, drama and
singing. His mitzvah project will
reflect this as he will be going to sing
for a local retirement home.

Washington, D.C., announce the
engagement of their daughter Melissa
Hope Moskof to Adam Lee Dorfman,
son of Dr. and Mrs. Alan Dorfman of
Huntington Woods and Marcia
Beckwith of Farmington Hills.
Miss Moskof earned a bachelor o
arts degree in history at Yale
University. She is employed at the
Advisory Board Company in
Washington as a senior analyst. Adam
earned a bachelor of arts degree in
biology at Yale, and will graduate from
the University of Michigan Medical
School this spring. The couple will be
moving to Boston, where Adam will
begin a residency in pediatrics and
Melissa will continue her career in
business.
A May wedding is planned in
Washington, D.C.
