Youth Awards
From NCJW

Twenty-seven area high school seniors
were honored recently when National
Council of Jewish Women, Greater
Detroit Section, presented the annual
Jewish Youth Awards.
A $1,000 scholarship was awarded
to Stevan Rosenberg, who was nomi-
nated by Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
Stevan is president of the National
Honor Society at West Bloomfield
High School. He is a student govern-
ment officer, captain of the cross
country team, forensic team captain,
debate team captain and a National
Merit Scholarship semifinalist. He is
also involved in United Synagogue
Youth, B'nai Brith and the ADL
Dream Dialogue.
The following students were also
participants in this year's Youth
Awards: Lindsey Alpert, Julie Bagley,
Chana Borenstein, Andrew Ceifetz,
