To mark the day, the com- munity adult Jewish education project Eilu v' Eilu will present a study session with Seth Korelitz, Ph.D. candidate in Jewish history at Brandeis University and director of the United Synagogue of America Michigan Region 12:15 p.m., at Borders Books & Music, 30995 Orchard Lake Road, Farmington Hills. Since the end of the Holocaust, a debate has raged over the alleged cul- pability of the United States govern- ment and the American Jewish com- munity for their actions (or lack there- of) to save the Jews of Europe. In commemoration of the 55th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, the Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring will hold a special program to remember the 6 million as well as the heroes who resisted the Nazis 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 19. The program will include candlelighting, reading of appropriate poetry and prose, partisan songs, a speaker, and multigenerational participation.
