Mrs. Serlin is survived by her sons and

self-employed optometrist in Detroit. He was
a member of the American Optometric
Association and B'nai B'rith.

ALVIN ZIV, 59, of Troy, died April 13. Mr.

Ziv was an attorney and the former owner of
Ziv Steel in Livonia.
He is survived by his sister and brother-
in-law, Betty and Mel Rosenhaus of
Birmingham; nephews and nieces, Rick and
Cathy Rosenhaus, Nancy Rosman, Rex and
Janice Rosenhaus; great-nephews and great-
nieces, Alex, Max and Anna Rosenhaus,
Sarah, Ben, David and John Rosman, Aaron
Rosenhaus. Mr. Ziv was the beloved son of
the late Harold Ziv and the late Vivian Ziv.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

ROSE ZUMBERG, 83, former Detroiter of

N. Lauderdale, Fla., died April 9.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-
in-law, Donald Zumberg of N. Lauderdale,
Allan and Eileen Zumberg of Farmington
Hills; grandchildren, Scott Zumberg of Royal
Oak, Dr. Marc and Lisa Zumberg of
Gainesville, Fla; great-grandchild, Ivie Martin
of Lansing; brother and sister-in-law, Geri
and Claire Ochenblatt; sister, Edyth Erlich of
N. Lauderdale. She was the wife of the late
Jack Zumberg.
Graveside services were held at Star of
David in N. Lauderdale.
