DR.MARTIN SIDNEY LINDE, 54, former Detroiter of Atlanta, Ga., died April 12. Dr. Linde graduated from Mumford High School, Highland Park Community College and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He practiced in Detroit from 1972-1984, when he moved to Atlanta and opened two podiatric clinics. Dr. Linde was a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a trustee of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association and director of residency training at Vencor/Atlanta Hospital. He served as chief podiatric consultant to the Georgia Medicaid Board; he also modified the surgical implement known as the Linde/Ragnel Retractor. He was an active vol- unteer for the Anti-Defamation League, B'nai B'rith, the Atlanta Lodge, Temple Israel in Detroit and Temple Sinai in Atlanta. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gelb Linde of Atlanta; daughter, Jennifer Linde and her fiance, Julian Bernick of Minneapolis, Minn.; daughter, Melissa Linde of Atlanta; sister Marilyn Linde Flusty and brother-in-law, Maynard Flusty of West Bloomfield; grandchildren, Michele and Marc Borovoy, Mark and Brenda Flusty; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Harold Linde and Dr. Marilyn Linde of Tampa, Fla. Graveside services were held at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. JACK MENENBERG, 79, of Southfield, died April 13. He is survived by his sons and daughters- in-law, Matthew and Valerie Menenberg of Bellingham, Wash., Russell and Susan Menenberg of Bothell, Wash., Todd and Jody Menenberg of Bellvue, Wash.; daughter, Sonia Menenberg of San Diego; sister, Rose Parnos of Southfield; grandchildren, Aaron, Louis, Max, Ben, Alex, Sydney and David Menenberg; lifetime companion, Marjorie Paul. Mr. Lewis was the former owner of Standard Metal Company in Detroit.
