others. It will have a positive impact on your life."
Women's Campaign Chair Beverly Liss encouraged
the attendees to be part of the community effort to reach
thousands of people who require the Jewish community's help.
With her Campaign pledge. a woman can help feed a homebound
older adult in the former Soviet Union or provide counseling for a victim
of domestic violence here at home, she said.
Choosing to make a difference. the women pledged more than
$ 1- 10.000 over last year to provide vital human services and enhance
Jewish life for Jews in Detroit. Israel and around the world.
