Kalsmith, former executive director
of WIN (the Women's Information
Network of Washington, D.C.) 11
a.m. Sunday, April 26, at a place to
be announced. She will give a talk
titled "Women, Orthodoxy and
Power."
JEWEI2s goal is to enable women
to make decisions about the meaning
of their Jewishness from a position of
enlightenment. Ms. Kalsmith served
as the director of the leadership
resource center at Georgetown Uni-
versity and then the director of WIN
in Washington, D.C.

The Jewish Federation Women's
Campaign and Education Depart-
ment has announced its nominees for
officer and board positions. Elections
and installation will take place at the
women's 52nd annual meeting 10:30
a.m. Monday, May 18, at Congrega-
tion Beth Abraham Hillel Moses.
Nominees are: Beverly Liss, presi-
dent; Rose Rita Goldman, Susie
Jacob and Cheryl Schanes, education
vice presidents; Nancy Glass, Busi-
ness and Professional Women vice
president; Paula Glazier, Campaign
vice president; Agnes Klein, corre-
sponding secretary; Jeannie Weiner,
recording secretary; and Sally Krugel
and Hope Silverman, designates to
the Federation Board of Governors.
Named for a first term on the
board are: Barbara Bloom, Lauren
Daitch, Cheryl Guyer, Margot
Halperin, Barbara Kappy, Liney
Obron, Rosalie Rosen and Malke
