The JCAHO is the most frequently recognized survey organization for all types of health care organizations in the U.S. Only a small number of skilled nursing homes gain accreditation, which involves a rigorous survey and intense followup. MDPH also recently used the Danto Center as a training site for new surveyors. Both the accreditation and the state survey are good news for the Danto Center and our community, which has a preferred provider relationship with the ski I led care facility.
