HEATHER S. JOSEPH, 55, former
Detroiter of Miami, Fla., died March
20. She was an elementary school
teacher in Detroit and Miami.
She is survived by her father, Ben-
jamin Mostyn; brother and sister-in-law,
Earle and Elaine Mostyn; sister-in-law,
May Harb; daughter, Mara Joseph; son
and daughter-in-law, Dr. Craig and
Wendi Joseph; granddaughter, Hannah
Joseph.

GERTRUDE KUPERMAN, 84, of
Ann Arbor, died March 24. Mrs.
Kuperman was a member of Temple
Beth Emeth and a volunteer with the
Department of Social Services and the
Senior Housing Bureau.
She is survived by her husband of 60
years, Abraham Kuperman; daughter,
Marilyn Scott of Ann Arbor; sons and
daughters-in-law, Lawrence and Elaine
Kuperman of Ann Arbor, Gilbert and
Joyce Kuperman of Dayton, Ohio; eight
grandchildren.
Interment at Arborcrest. Contribu-

KENNETH LEVINE, 79, of Farming-
ton Hills, died March 26. He was a
World War II veteran who received the
Purple Heart and the Bronze Star; he
served in the Battle of the Bulge. He
was a 32nd degree Mason and a mem-
ber of Perfection Mosaic Lodge and the
American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl
Levine; sons and daughters-in-law,
Stephen and DeeAnn Levine of South-
field, David and Elaine Levine of Mem-
phis, Tenn.; daughter and son-in-law,
Janice and Peter Tainsh of Ann Arbor;
sisters, Nathalie Rosenberg of South-
field, Mildred Levine of Farmington
Hills, Gertrude Levine of Farmington
Hills; grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca
and Alexander Levine, Whitney, Ross
and Keith Levine, Katherine and Peter
Tainsh. Services were held at Machpelah
Cemetery Chapel in Ferndale followed
by interment in the cemetery.

law, Rhonda and Sheldon Levine of
Bloomfield Hills; sister and brother-in-

Carli Levine.

Park Cemetery Chapel in Birmingham
followed by interment in the cemetery.

died March 21.
He is survived by his daughters and

Hills; brothers and sister-in-law, Max
and Bertha Lofman of West Bloomfield,

art Arkin, Corey Farber, Carra Moss,
