Lewis Gets Ace,
Wins A Benz

Winning the Mercedes-Benz start e d
as joke for Chuck Lewis and his fam-
ily.
At the 47th Tamarisk Invitational
Golf Tournament in Rancho Mirage,
Calif., there were four prizes up for
grabs for holes-in-one on the four
par-3 holes: a camcorder, set of
irons, a golf trip, or a new Mercedes
320 SLK.
On Friday, March 20, West
Bloomfield's Chuck Lewis, 71, got
an ace on the 151-yard second hole
with a 9-wood.
And won the Benz.
Playing with his son Scott, Lewis
netted his fourth career hole-in-one,
his first at Tamarisk, and the first at
the club this season. He shot an 80
for the round at the weekend tourna-
ment.
