Chametz Mobile
Makes Pick-Ups

Under the direction of Jeff Lazar and
Teens for Tikun Olam and the Agency
for Jewish Education, six youth groups
are collecting chametz to be donated
ro Yad Ezra.
Members of BBYO, B'nai Akiva,
Habonim, NCSY, NFTY and USY
will drive through metro Detroit
neighborhoods to pick up unopened
kosher chametz. The food will be dis-
tributed by Yad Ezra to needy clients
after Passover.

placed in marked bags on donors'
front porches by 11 a.m.

For Teachers

The Agency for Jewish Education will
host Jewish educators at its Education-
al Resource Center for a special pro-
gram 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 2.
Fran Menken, coordinator of the
center will introduce lesson plans and
project ideas for teaching about and
observing Yom Ha'atzmaut, Yom
Ha'zikaron and Yom HaShoah. Teach-
ers also will have the opportunity to
use the center's equipment, preview
educational videos and select among
the multitude of materials for loan.
Refreshments will be provided.
The program is free of charge. Pre-
