The Joe to Go signature roast claims
beans from. Costa Rica, Sumatra and
the Blue Mountains of Jamaica, Cus-
tom-blended by Gourmet Coffee Roast-
ers. There are cappuccinos, lattes, teas
and Italian steamers, plus basics like hot
chocolate, hot cider, juices and bottled
water.
Or order muffins, scones and cook-
ies, baked fresh daily from Elwin's, and
bagels from Elaine's. You can even get a
newspaper; call it a one-stop wake-up
call.
The owners claim to have above-
average coffee machines, in speed and
consistency. Their -target market is the
upper-middle to high-income corn-
muter who does not have time to sit in
a coffee shop, let alone wait for a park-
ing spot and then in a line inside. But
there is no sacrificing quality for speed.
"Coffee is like a fine wine or fine
cigar," says Weber. "People recognize
and expect the taste of quality."
So drive on through — it'll only take
a minute.
