SALLY ANN SHIOVITZ JACK- SON, 91, former Detroiter of Camarillo, Calif., died Feb.23. She m tvas a retired bookkeeper who did volunteer work. She helped form the Camarillo chapter of Brandeis Uni- versity Woman's Club, was its finan- cial secretary and was the first woman honored by them as Woman of the Year. She taught at the Gate- wood School in Camarillo for over 10 years. She helped transcribe books into Braille. She was also a member of the Council of Jewish Women. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Alvin Cohen of Westlake Village, Calif.; sons and daughter-in-law, Douglas, Richard E. and Lynne of Woodland Hills, Calif.; grandchildren, Tony Cohen, Michael and Eric Jackson of California; brothers and sisters-in- law, Harry and Shirley Shiovitz of Southfield, Dr. Louis and Belleen Shiovitz of Birmingham; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Carl LeVine of Silver Spring, Md.
