Sarah Rothstein
Sarah Ann Rothsetin will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah at Congrega-
tion Beth Abraham Hillel Moses on
Saturday, March
21. Sarah is the
daughter of Linda
and Jay Rothstein,
sister of Jennifer
and David, and
granddaughter of
Lee Rothstein and
Eva Nunley. She
also is the grand-
daughter of the
late Harold Rothstein and the late Cur-

tis

Sarah is an honor student at Hillel
Day School. She enjoys roller-skating,
soccer, swimming, biking, music and
art. Sarah is an avid reader and writer
and loves animals.
Sarah's mitzvah projects included
baby-sitting for Hillel Day School pro-
grams, volunteering at Yad Ezra and
working with seniors at Jewish Federa-
tion Apartments. She also has donated
clothing to Orchard Children's Services
and made contributions to Yad Ezra.
Sarah's party centerpieces include toy
animals, which will be donated to
Orchard Children's Services.

Ani Glass
Ani Meridith Glass will observe her bat
mitzvah at Temple Israel on Saturday,
March 21. She is the daughter of
Doneen and Gary
Glass, sister of
V*,
Gabriel and grand-
child of Anita and
Harold Glass.
Among her
mitzvah projects,
she assisted with
the Friendship
Circle, an organi-
zation that helps
families with spe-
cial needs. She also volunteered in the

Temple Israel office and donated to
Mazon. Attending Clifford Smart
Middle School, Ani enjoys playing
basketball, running track, swimming,
music, dancing, singing in the Temple
Israel Junior Choir and playing the
viola.

Jared Brown
Jared Alexander Brown will observe his
bar mitzvah on Saturday, March 21, at
Temple Israel. He is the son of Donna
and Dr. Richard
Brown, brother of
Justin and grand-
child of Ethel and
Sidney Brown and
Roslyn and
Leonard Trunsky.
Mitzvah pro-
jects included
assisting at the
Denby Center
and for the annual temple Labor Day
picnic as well as donating to the Jew-
ish National Fund. A student at
Detroit Country Day, Jared is interest-
ed in playing tennis and basketball,
travel and music.

Robert Levine
Robert Bernard Levine will celebrate his
bar mitzvah at Temple Israel on Friday,
March 20. He is the son of Tori and
Hirschel Levine,
brother of Hillary
and grandson of
Bettyruth Dizik.
He is also the
grandchild of the
late Bernard Dizik
and the late Inez
and Raymond
Levine.
Mitzvah pro-
jects included assisting at the Denby
House orphanage and helping to build
the Temple Israel sukkah. A student at
West Hills, Robbie is interested in sail-
ing, photography and art; he is work-
ing toward his Eagle Scout ranking as
a Boy Scout.
