Keynote speaker Morton Winston
is past chairman of the Amnesty
International-USA Board of Direc-
tors and a professor of philosophy at
the College of New Jersey.

& Learning is presented by Eilu
Eilu.

rience. No knowledge of Yiddish is

Annual Book
Symposium Set

The Sholem Aleichem Institute will
present its annual book symposium 8
p.m. Friday, March 27, at Franklin
Pointe clubhouse.
David Moskowitz and Ruth Waldfo-
gel will review Rabin: Our Life, His
Legacy by Leah Rabin. Dramatic read-
ings from the book will be given by sto-
ryteller Corinne Stavish.

Study Session
For Adults

Community educator Ruth Bergman
will lead a one-hour study session for
adult learners 11:30 a.m. Monday,

Hills. The talk is titled "The God of
Our Mothers: Rereading the Women of
the Bible."
All are welcome. The session is spon-
sored by Eilu v' Eilu, the adult Jewish

and B'nai Moshe; Hillel Day School;
and Women's League for Conservative
Judaism-Michigan Branch.
There is a charge of $5 for members
of sponsoring organizations; $7 for oth-
ers. No knowledge of Hebrew is
required. Students should bring with
them an English translation of the Bible
(preferably the entire Tanakh-Torah,
Prophets and Writings). Advance regis-
tration is not required. Students may

the Association of Jewish Libraries will
