and child care. The panel will be
moderated by Channel 4 "Good
Medicine" reporter Lila Lazarus.
o A gym class led by Jewish
Center staff.
n A cooking demonstration by
chef Annabel Cohen, a staff writer
for The AppleTree.
o Booths exhibiting fun and inter-
esting items for and information
about babies and children. (These
will include art and Judaica gal-
leries, toy stores, La Leche League,
photographers, Jewish Family Ser-
vice and the Oakland County
Health Dept.)
o A display on Jewish birth
rituals.
o Activities, such as a clown and
face painting, for older siblings.
The program, "Bringing Up
Baby," is being hosted by the
Neighborhood Project and the ACC,
and sponsored by the Jewish Feder-
ation Community Outreach and
Education (CORE) department,
DMC-Sinai Hospital and The Jewish
News. ❑

our mother-in-law assures

warm. Of course, it is 85 degrees
outside; but maybe he's cold!

spending entirely too much time
holding your infant. So what if she's
only 4 weeks old. You're spoiling
her! She's got to learn to fend for
herself sometime, now doesn't she?
