Prepare your table with attention to
tiny details — but don't worry about
coordinating.
Put out a nice tablecloth, but top it
with all
different kinds of plates and china.
Use cloth napkins wrapped in napkin
rings of all shapes and sizes.
Serve appetizers on alternating
flowered and checked paper plates.
Use all the different salt shakers in
your home. An eclectic, creative table
is fun.

Old - Fashioned Fun
Children never tire of hide-and-go
seek and ring-around-the-rosy.
Grown-ups, too, will love it if you
play these tried-and-true party
games:
* Ask everyone to provide you in
advance with a baby picture. Hang on
the wall (no names showing) in
advance of the get together and have
everyone try to guess who is who.
* The host cuts out photos of
famous persons from magazines who
guests must identify.
* Play charades.
* Play 21 Questions, where one
team asks yes-or-no questions and
tries to identify what or who the other
team is thinking of.
