celebrate families raising chil-
dren, and to promote resources
to help them. Here are a few of
the activities that will promote the
program:
March 14: Bridging the Gap
Family Day, sponsored by Birrn-
ingham-Bloomfield Families in
Action (248) 644-2245.
March 20: Parenting Expo and
Family Fun Fair, sponsored by
Oakland Family Services. The
event will feature creative activi-
ties for children and families. At
Summit Place Mall in Waterford.

Throughout the month: Strength-
ening the Family workshops.
These are a series of free pro-
grams to help strengthen the par-
ent-child relationship, as well as
to encourage each family mem-
ber to be a creative and produc-
