12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at
Whitehall Apartments clubhouse,

Drapkin, who will speak on "Grow-
ing Up in a Jewish Immigrant Family
in America."
Coffee and cake will be served.

Spring Luncheon

Bloomfield Hills, Evergreen and
Masada groups of Hadassah will hold
a spring luncheon 12:15 p.m. Tues-

Program Focus
Is Parenting

The Temple Beth El Sisterhood pro-
gram 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at
the temple will feature James
Windell, a psychotherapist at the
Oakland County Juvenile Court and
in private practice in West Bloom-
field.
Windell is the author of three
books on parenting techniques. He
will address "The Difficult Child:
Hyperactive, ADD, Middle Child &
Anything in Between."
The program is open to the com-
munity at no charge; dessert and cof-
fee will follow the presentation.

Shabbat Program

Families of Congregation Shaarey
Zedek's Beth Hayeled Nursery
School are invited to "A Sense of
Shabbat," an educational program
on the meaning and customs of
Shabbat, 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, March
17, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek's
B'nai Israel Center. An optional
kosher pizza dinner will be served at
6 p.m.
The evening will include make-
and-take Shabbat ritual items and
Shabbat songs with the educational
staff of Beth Hayeled and the Agency
for Jewish Education's Jewish Experi-
ences for Families.
There is a fee of $10 per family.
Participants are also requested to
bring a contribution of a kosher
food item for Yad Ezra. Advance
