Ruth Berger of Shaker Heights,
Ohio, and Arnold Berger of Cleve-
land, Ohio, are pleased to announce
the engagement of their daughter
Joanie to Robert Alan Nosanchuk,
son of Laurie and Michael
Nosanchuk of West Bloomfield.
Joanie earned her undergraduate
degree in psychology and a master of
business administration, master of
social work, and certificate of Jewish
communal service at the University
of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is a
senior staff associate at the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.
Robert completed his bachelor of
arts in humanities from Michigan
State University. He is a rabbinical
student at Hebrew Union College in
Los Angeles, where he also earned his
master of arts in Jewish communal
service.
An August wedding in Cleveland
is planned.
