LILLIAN BAIN, 85, former Detroiter

of Tucson, Ariz., died Feb. 14.
She is survived by her daughters and
sons-in-law, Evelyn and Louis Wolff of

Rothenberg of Walled Lake, Philip
Bain of Tucson; grandchildren, Julie
and Marla Jablonowski, Allan and
Cheryl Rothenberg, Jodi Bain; great-
grandchildren, Carly and Brandon
Rothenberg. She was the beloved wife
of the late Joseph Bain.

LOUIS BERLIN, 87, of Warren, died

March 6.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie
Berlin; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy
and Lillian Berlin of Plymouth, Dr.
Barry and Fran Berlin of Engelwood,
Colo., Mark and Becky Berlin of Lake
City, Tenn.; grandchildren, Heather,
Aaron, Brooke, Kip, Todd.

IRWIN HARRY BLOCH, 61, of

Bloomfield Township, died March 9.
Mr. Bloch was a broadcast journalist
and a talk show host for Station WOR
in New York. He was a member of the
Michigan Humane Society and a mem-

ber of the National Association of
Broadcasters.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda
Bloch; sons, Brad Bloch of Auburn
Hills, Paul Bloch of Clearwater, Fla.,
and their mother, Marylou Bloch;
grandsons, Ian and Jonathan Bloch;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Ivan and
Linda Bloch of Bloomfield, Stuart
Bloch and Ambassador Julia Chang of
Washington, D.C.; sister and brother-
in-law, Harriett and Sheldon Fuller of
Bloomfield Hills.
Interment at Municipal Cemetery
in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

Detroit, died March 7. Mrs. Bruell
was a master social worker for the
state of Michigan.
She is survived by her husband,

Daniel and Wendy Bruell of Ann
Arbor, Marc and Debbie Bruell of
Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Dustin

Monica, Charlotte and Emily Bruell;
brother and sister-in-law, Barry and
Britt Shalit of Rockaway, N.J.; step-
daughter, Brande Nicole Webb of
Southfield.

LAWRENCE CANTOR, 67, of

Farmington Hills, died March 6. Mr.
Cantor was a pharmacist and for 29
years was the owner of Northland
Medical Building Pharmacy. He was
an undergraduate at the University of
Michigan and graduated from Wayne
State University School of Pharmacy
in 1957.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara
Cantor; daughters and sons-in-law,
Susan Cantor and Peter Cassidy of
Seattle, Wendy Cantor of Santa Cruz,
Calif, Nancy and Warren Cohen of
Oak Park, Jody Cantor and Randy
Baker of Soquel, Calif, Marcy Cantor
of Seattle; grandchildren, Dafni Moon,
Micha, Coby and Ariel Vardy; sisters
and brother-in-law, Sandra Slavin,

Candy and Robert Greene; brother-in-
law and sister-in-law, Dr. Donald and
Eileen Klein. He was the loving father
of the late Robert Cantor.

ROSE COHEN, 82, former Detroiter

of Delray Beach, Fla., died Feb. 17.
Mrs. Cohen was an elementary
schoolteacher at Francis Scott Key
School in Oak Park for 20 years.
She is survived by her son, Bill
Cohen of Orlando, Fla.; daughter,
Susan Schneiderman of Bloomfield
Hills; sister, Esther Mazel of Silver
Springs, Md.; brother Jack Welikson
of Jericho, Long Island; grandchildren,
Lauren and Scott Schneiderman. She
was the loving wife of the late Irving
Cohen.
Interment at the Eternal Light
Cemetery in Florida. Contributions
may be made to a charity of one's
choice.

BEATRICE ADA FEALK, 83, of

Oak Park, died March 8.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Eugene Fealk and
Jane Burton of Lincoln, Calif.; grand-
children, Beth and Dr. Howard Grill,
Katherine and Dr. Peter Weinstein,
Jane and Adam Diamond, Dawn
Fealk, Dean Fealk; great-grandsons,
Joshua and Daniel Grill. She was the
beloved wife of the late Philip P. Fealk;
the loving mother of the late Shirley
Berman Swirski and the dear mother-
in-law of the late Dr. Gilbert Berman.
Interment at Mezeritcher Cemetery.

LILLIAN FIDLER, 87, of Los Ange-

les, died March 3.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Gerald and Arleen
Fidler of Los Angeles, Spencer and
Debora Fidler of Las Cruces, N.M.;
sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and
Sheldon Schubiner of Oak Park;
grandchildren, Bradley Fidler, Kristin
Fidler, Isadora Fidler, Anna Fidler, Ari
Fidler, Trevor Fidler. Mrs. Fidler was
the beloved wife of the late Isador
Fidler; loving sister of the late Saralee
Tessler, the late Isadore Leeman, the
late Gail Klegon.

of Hope, 6960 Orchard Lake Road,
West Bloomfield, MI 48322. Services
and interment were held in Los Ange-
les. This announcement was placed at
the request of the family by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.
