first annual family Purim se'udah 4:30
p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the shul.
The event will feature dinner, a pro-
fessional magic show, skits, costume
contest and music.
Children of all ages (those older
ones, too) are encouraged to dress in 1114
costume. For information and reserva-

All meals are by pre-paid reserva-
tions only; reservations must be made

and learn series on narratives from the
Bible in the month of March. This
session is called "Leaders and Their
Foibles" and will focus on the books
of Samuel and Kings. The dates and

"David: A King Sins and a Man
Repents"; March 24 — "Jeroboam
and Reshav'am: The War Between the
Jews"; March 31 — "Elijah: Religious

The sessions are led by Rabbi Her-
bert Yoskowitz and are held in the

boardroom of Congregation Beth
Achim from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. There
is no charge to attend; however, there
is a small charge for the optional
