BELLE KAPLAN, 88, of Deerfield
Beach, Fla., died Feb. 11. Mrs. Kaplan
was a legal secretary.
She is survived by her sister, Sylvia
Dreykus of Los Angeles; nieces and
nephews. Mrs. Kaplan was the beloved
wife of the late Rubin Kaplan; the lov-
ing mother of the late Yale Kaplan.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one's choice.

DR. ERNEST KAPLAN, 87, former-
ly of Birmingham of North Redington
Beach, Fla., died Feb. 2. He was an
eye, nose and throat specialist.
He is survived by his wife, Vera;
sons, Anthony and Robert; grand-
daughter, Hannah.

BESSIE KATZ, 90, of Southfield,
,died Feb. 15. Mrs. Katz was a book-
keeper and medical office manager.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Robert and Gail
Katz; daughter and son-in-law, Valerie
and Perry Swartz; grandchildren,
Jonathan and Terri Katz, Deborah
Katz, Suzi Katz, Michael and Sondra
Katz; great-granddaughter, Molly
Katz; sister and brother-in-law, Fanny
and Milton Heller.
Interment at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Arrangements by the
Ira Kaufman Chapel.

NATHANIEL WILLIAM "BILL"
KATZ, 81, of West Bloomfield, died
Feb. 10.
He is survived by his brothers and
sister-in-law, Joseph and Fern Katz of
/Southfield, Bernard Katz of Detroit;
nephews and nieces, Ralph and
Deborah Katz, David M. Katz, Louis
and Gail Busch Katz. Mr. Katz was
the beloved husband of the late Grace
Katz.

THEODORE KATZ, 91, of Oak
Park, died Feb. 14.
He is survived by his brothers and
sister-in-law, Jimmie and Sally Katz of
Jupiter, Fla., Joseph Katz of Margate,
Fla.; nieces and nephews. Mr. Katz
was the beloved husband of the late
Margaret Katz; loving brother of the
late Bertha Grossman.

LILLIAN KOMER, 84, of Southfield,
died Feb. 12. Mrs. Komer was a com-
munity theater executive. She was a
life member of Hadassah, B'nai B'rith,
Congregation Adat Shalom, Infant
Service Corporation and the Variety
Club.
Mrs. Komer is survived by her sons
and daughter-in-law, Dr. Robert A.
Komer of Texas, Richard L. and Judy
Komer of Bloomfield Hills; daughter
and son-in-law, Shelly Komer Jackier
and Dr. Avi Zechori of Bloomfield
Hills; grandchildren, Lee Komer,
Margery Kamer, Nancy Korner Stone
and Dr. Michael Stone, Ariana and Seth
Jackier; sisters, Edith Liberman, Sophie
Golden of Southfield. She was the
beloved wife of the late Harry Komer.
