Shira Stoorman
Shira Rose Stoorman will be called
• to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
• Saturday, Feb. 7, at Congregation
T'chiyah, with
services held at
the Kingsley.
Shira is the
daughter of
Marsha and
Mark Goldsmith
Kamin and
`3Samuel
Stoorman. She is
the granddaugh-
ter of Arnold and
Gladys Goldsmith, Herbert and
Selma Stoorman and Marian and
Jerry Kamin. With Shira as the
leader of the congregation, her entire
family will participate in her service
on Shabbat Shirah.
Shira has had several mitzvah pro-

jects, including volunteering at
Jewish Federation Apartments for
their special events, assisting with the
Berkley Caring and Sharing Food
Drive and collecting toys which she
will donate to COTS.

Daniel Seidman
Daniel Howard Seidman will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
at Temple Israel
on Friday, Feb. 6.
He is the son of
Jody and Steve
Seidman and the
brother of Aaron.
Danny is the
grandson of Rita
and Mel Seidman
and Gertie and
Sy Garber, and
the late Howard Ehrlichman. Danny
is the great-grandson of Jennie
Malarnud.
Danny is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School. His
interests include basketball, skiing,
computers, and collecting model
cars. Working at Yad Ezra was
Danny's most meaningful mitzvah
project.

Meara MacWilliams
Meara MacWilliams of Farmington
Hills will be bat mitzvah at Temple
Beth El on Feb. 7. Participating in
the ceremony will be her parents,
Bruce and Gale, and -her brother

Joseph Gartner
Joseph Ansel Gartner will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Feb. 7, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek. Joseph is the son of
Diane and Dr.
Arnold Gartner
and brother of
Jessica. His
proud grandpar-
ents are Henry
and Genevieve
Ulanski; and he
is the grandson
of the late Joseph
and Trudy
Gartner.
Joseph is an honor student at
Hillel Day School. He has volun-
teered at the Yad Ezra and Salvation
Army food banks and has also
worked with the residents of JARC
and the Fleischman Residence.
Joey enjoys playing the violin and
is an alumnus of the Interlochen Arts
Camp. He also enjoys golfing and is
active in the sound and light crew at
Hillel.
