'After 20 years in therapy, I've
learned that I'm really ... broke," she
says. "I've put my therapist's kids
through college, and I hope they don't
want to go to graduate school ... I'm
not that crazy."
Writing material for a Howie Man-
del special resulted in some offstage
laughs.
"I was at a deli having lunch, and
the waitress brought over a tongue —
a whole tongue," she recalls. "I said
that we didn't order it, and the wait-
ress explained that somebody else
ordered it for me. I looked around the
restaurant and saw Howie Mandel
laughing."

Joe DiMaggio and Mayor Rudolph
Giuliani.
"My long-term goal is hosting the
Oscars," Liebman says. "I know that
sounds ridiculous, but I also didn't
think that one day I would go on 'Let-
terman.' I worked for 10 years before I
met him, and now I've done his show
four times.
"In the meantime, I'm working on
a sitcom, writing two books and
maybe a third with Phyllis Diller as
illustrator, setting up a one-woman
show and deciding about a syndicated
weekly radio program."
Liebman also is planning to record
her own comedy album — Artist For-
merly Known As Princess.
