Donna Sklar of Farmington Hills is
delighted to announce the engage-
ment of her daughter Karen Gail to
Vernon Marc Gordon, son of
Maurice Gordon and the late
Maxine Gordon of Dayton, Ohio.
Karen also is the daughter of the late
Lawrence Sklar. She is the grand-
daughter of Esther Goldenberg and
the late Norman Goldenberg.
Karen earned her bachelor's
degree in education and her master's
degree in sports administration from
Wayne State University and is a
math teacher at Southfield High
School.
Vernon received his bachelor's
degree in finance from Ohio State
University and is the vice president
of Elan Designs, a custom home
builder in Ann Arbor.
An April' wedding is planned.
Susan Wasserman and David Glickman
were married recently at the Southfield
Radisson Hotel. Rabbi Michael
Moskowitz officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Jack and
Audrey Chase of Detroit. The groom is
the son of Melvin and Patricia
Glickman of Manhattan.
The maid of honor was Marcia
Wasserman, sister of the bride. The
bridesmaids were Jenni Wasserman, sis-
ter of the bride; Marcy Wasserman, sis-
ter-in-law of the bride; Ida Warshay,
Shari Baker, sorority sisters of the bride;
Kathleen O'Donnell, friend of the
bride; and Dana Glickman, sister-in-law
of the groom. The best man was
Michael Glickman, brother of the
groom. The groomsmen were Brad
Wasserman, brother of the bride; Mark
Sabatino, Gary Sanford, William White
Jr., Glen Silverman and Kurt Fauerbach,
all fraternity brothers of the groom.
Daniel and Scott Wasserman, the bride's
nephews, were the ring bearers.
Following a honeymoon in Grenada,
the couple reside in Manhattan.
