ISADORE ARNKOFF, 86, of
Southfield, died Jan. 20.
He is survived by his wife, Edna;
brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Morris
and Bernice Arnkoff of Birmingham;
sister and brother-in-law, Mary and
George Stutz of Sarasota, Fla. He was
the brother of the late Dr. Harry
Arnkoff.
Graveside services were held at Beth
Tefilo Emanuel Cemetery in Ferndale.

NELLIE BARNETT, 83, of Oak
Park, died Jan. 20.
She is survived by her son, Sanford
Barnett of California City, Calif.;
cousins; nieces and nephews. Mrs.
Barnett was the loving sister of the late
Ben Pivoz and the late Ann Schwartz.

Southfield, died Jan. 20.
He is survived by his daughter,
Sandra Barshtz of Southfield. Mr.
Barshtz was the beloved husband of
the late Lillian Barshtz; loving father
of the late Geraldine Applebaum.

IRWIN BORKIN, 91, former
Detroiter of Margate, Fla., died Jan. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Mary
Borkin of Margate; daughter, Joyce
Borkin; granddaughter, Marta Borkin
of Cincinnati; son and daughter-in-
law, Harold Borkin and Adrian
Kaplan of Ann Arbor; sisters, Yetta
Sherman of Oak Park, Alice Katz of
Margate; brother, David Borkin of
Detroit.

REBECCA H. BORTMAN, 89, of
West Bloomfield, died Jan. 20.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Ronald and Holly

Bortman of Hornbrook, Calif.; daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Roz and Allan
Granitz of West Bloomfield; brother,
Sam Hurwitz of Southfield; grandchil-
dren, Joshua Bortman, Isaac Bortman.
Mrs. Bortman was the beloved wife of
the late Joe C. Bortman.

LORELEI COHEN, 60, of West
Bloomfield, died Jan. 23. Mrs. Cohen
was a Detroit public school psycholo-
gist. She was a 1960 graduate of
Wayne State University and received a
specialist degree in 1970 as well as a.
masters degree from the University of
Texas in 1964. Mrs. Cohen was
instrumental in establishing a mediat-
ed learning program in Detroit public
schools and in 1991 received
"Outstanding Mediator Award" from
the office of Special Education. For 15
years, she was a religious school
teacher at Temple Israel, a former
board member of the National
Council of Jewish Women and a past
board member of JARC.
Mrs. Cohen is survived by her hus-
band, Norton Cohen; daughter, Rabbi
Debrah Cohen of Ann Arbor; son,
Sander Cohen of Keego Harbor; sis-
ters and brothers-in-law, Denali S.
Bookstein and David Berman of
Berkeley, Calif, Rosabell and Harold
Bernstein; brother and sister-in-law,
Michael and Florence Schuman. She
was the loving daughter of the late
Fred and Anna Schuman and the dear
sister of the late Herman Schuman.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park.

N.Y., died Jan. 21.

Collins of Detroit; grandchildren,
Marina, Jane, Viola, Victor, Gary,

JENNIE RASH DUNN, 103, of
West Bloomfield, died Jan. 20.
She is survived by her daughters and
sons-in-law, Edith Feld of Farmington
Hills, Pearl Greenberg of West
Bloomfield, Phyllis and John Hughes of
Urbana, Ill., Roselyn and Morton
Cohen of Westland, Bernice and Dr.
Myron Fine of Dallas, Texas; 16 grand-
children; 19 great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild. She was the
beloved wife of the late Solomon Rash;
mother of the late Shirley Budman; sis-
ter-in-law of the late Eunice Levine.

Hebrew Memorial Park Cemetery in

MOLLIE EPSTEIN, 90, of West
Bloomfield, formerly of Flint, died
Jan. 24. Mrs. Epstein was an auto
parts accountant.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Stephen H. and
Laurel Epstein of West Bloomfield;
daughter, Judith S. Epstein of
Washington, D.C.; grandchildren,
Brian J. and Scott D. Epstein; sister-
in-law, Gertrude Haber. She was the
beloved wife of the late Benjamin
Epstein; the dear sister of the late
Samuel Haber.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery

DR. MORDECAI L. FALICK, 88,
formerly of West Bloomfield of San
Rafael, Calif, died Jan. 23. Dr. Falick
received his undergraduate and med-
ical degrees from the University of
Michigan and was a past president of ---\

Psychoanalysis.
He is survived by his wife of 11
years, Lillian Finkelstein Falick; son
and daughter-in-law, Arnold Falick
and Karen Rawlins; daughter and son-
