"Sometimes we need to -do post-
production work to get the show
ready to air," Levit said. "It's ideal that
we get the taping done in one night so
that the guests don't have to come
back."
Levit is looking forward to the
March and April shows, which will be
devoted to Jewish music, including an
interview with musician David Broza,
non-Jew. "I happened to be there tak-
ing my test one night when she was
short of crew members. She talked m
into helping and I've been doing it
ever since."
Grogan, whose day job is as a film
producer and freelance writer, has
used the opportunity to learn about
Judaism. ❑
ublic access television gives
just about anyone the
opportunity to put a mes-
sage across.
But, even though plenty of
Christian organizations take advantage
of the medium, there
was very little Judaic
content in what Geri
Levit was seeing five
years ago on her local
cable access channels.
So, she created the
first local synagogue
production company.
Five years later,
