sn't it nice to be dreaming about summer camp
while we're still in the middle of winter?
Well, don't dream too long. While most camps
will be happy to accept your son or daughter right
up to • the last minute, we all know from our children's
and the camps' perspectives that decision time is really
now.
Most children like to go with others they know, and
the most-popular camps fill up early. So even though it's
nice to dream about summer, it's not too soon to begin
formalizing summer plans for your children.
This annual Jewish News camp section will not tell you what the perfect camp
is for your child. We can't even pretend to have all the available choices listed.
But this section does present a variety of options in addition to information
about the standard overnight camps.
We also briefly highlight opportunities for older "campers." Don't miss our
