Memorial Lecture

Bais Chabad Torah Center will host
the second annual Yenta Baila
(Beulah) Schochet Memorial
Lecture 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28,
at the Torah Center, 5595 West
Maple Road, West Bloomfield.
Rabbi Yanki Tauber of Jerusalem
will speak on "Life After Death: A
Jewish Perspective." Rabbi Tauber is
the author of Beyond the Letter of the
Law, a work on the Ethics of the
Fathers, and Once Upon a Chasid, a
collection of Chasidic stories.
Prior to the lecture there will be a
catered buffet dinner at the Torah
Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
There is a charge for the dinner; the
lecture is open to all at no charge.
