CAMP MAAS

CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Choose from 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 weeks
2nd - 9th Graders

Silverman Village

(some sessions filled with waiting lists)

An emotionally supportive unit for children who are in
special education classes due to behavior difficulties.

TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP MAAS

7:30 a.m.

Rise and Shine

8:30 a.m.

Breakfast

10:00 - 12:45

Activity Time: Kayaking, Waterskiing, Red Cross swim
lessons, Drama, a hockey game or tennis match, individual
Prime Time or select your own "Choice."

For children with special needs who can be integrated
into the regular camp program where extra support
staff are provided.

WINTER BREAK & SPRING CLASSIC

1:00 p.m.

Lunch and singing

1:45 - 2:30

Menucha (rest hour) — Mail time, letter writing, hanging out
with your bunkmates.

2:45 - 5:30

Activity Time: General Swim, learning about the
environment at Teva, partake in the old west at Pioneer
Skills, throw a pot at ceramics, be the DJ at the radio station
or horseback ride through the trails.

6:30 Dinner

Fridays are extra special as we welcome the Shabbat with
homemade challah, a traditional Shabbat meal & songfest.

7:15 Schmooze

Visit with your brothers and sisters, challenge your counselor
to a basketball game or finish a project in Arts & Crafts.

8:15 p.m.

Evening Programs: Hawaiian Luau, Overnights, " Coming to
America" and "Exodus," Foxfire Carnival.

9:15 p.m.

Lights out for Junior Side

10:00 p.m.

Lights out for Senior Side
