n Olympic fashion, 65 kids
marched into the gym at the
Oak Park JCC to road test hock-
ey equipment, basketballs and
soccer balls, swim fins, boxing gloves
and a punching bag.

The $8,000-$10,000 worth of
equipment was awarded to the Jimmy
Prentis Morris JCC as part of the
United Parcel Service Olympic Sports
Legacy Program. The kids who were
selected to participate in the Jan. 7
program are enrolled in sports classes
