low-pressure environment, the Deer
Valley Resort Ski School offers several
winter escape programs designed
exclusively for women and hosted by
former U.S. Ski Team member Heidi
Voelker.

female instructors. Women enjoy cama-
raderie and female bonding while going
at their own pace to attain peak perfor-
mance.
Deer Valley is also one of the most
easily accessible of ski areas — an hour
by interstate highway from Salt Lake
City's first-rate airport — and is the site
for the Olympics in 2002.
The mountain is noted for being
groomed as smooth as pressed face
