Machon L'Torah's women's d-:vision will try to answer that question at a Chanukah program on Jewish pride, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 21. "When we hit this time of year and we're so bombarded with Christian symbols and Christmasy stuff, it's impor- tant to touch base so we feel hood about who we are though we do not celebrate Christmas," says Bayla Jacobovitz, rebbetzin of the Oak Park-based Machon L'Torah: The Jewish Learning Network of Michigan. The program features a panel of five women who work in largely secular envi- ttnments but maintain a high level of Jewish involvement. The panel includes Cheryl Chodun, a news reporter at Cheryl Chodun: Jewish pride in a Christian , Channel 7 and Huntington world.
