The former Middle Eastern restau-
rant will be strictly Italian ... incorpo-
rating the Larco's and Lelli's names
with its new owners ... Ernest "Duke"
Largo, Nick Larco's son, who used to
work with dad and Uncle Pete in the
Larco's kitchen on W. McNichols and
San Juan ... and Chris Rado, second
cousin to both Mike Lelli and Duke
Larco ... Chris was at Lelli's eight years
as manager, chef, etc.
The fellows are expecting to open
their 220-seater with its new renova-
tions a la the Italian theme somewhere
around Jan. 15.
COCO'S KORNER ... "I've always
picked a bone about senior citizen fees
not being on dog tag prices. I was
beefing about us senior dogs getting
no break on prices and now I see our
owners are getting 'em. Wonder if our
owners appreciate what us dogs do for
