Divine Comedy

Rabbi Bob Alper returns to Detroit with his unique, side-splitting, stand-up
comedy show. Funny enough for teen-agers, yet clean enough for their grand-
parents, Alper has been called "a Jewish Cosby." Catch the Steve Martin look-

Bible Study

"Out of Egypt: An Israelite Experience," a lecture by Dr. Sharon R. Keller,
professor of biblical studies, Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion,
examines the Egyptian background of the Exodus narrative. The lecture takes
place in the Lecture Hall of the Detroit Institute of Arts as part of the "Splen-
dors of Ancient Egypt" exhibition. Includes sign-language interpretation. (313)

Kid Folk

Robb Zelonsky, otherwise known as Robbo, performs
"Great Songs for Great Kids" as part of the JCC's "Magical
Sundays with the Kids" concert series. Combining secular
children's songs with Jewish classics, Zelonsky lets his
imagination and humor run rampant throughout this
folksy show, where the kids are the stars. Tickets are $4
adults/$3 children for JCC members and $5 adults/$4
