Dedication Set

Mitzvah Chapter of Jewish Women
International will dedicate a humor cart
to Henry Ford Hospital 2 p.m. Tuesday,
Dec. 9, at the hospital.
• The Mitzvah Humor Cart was
donated by Kathy and Jeff Lowenthal in
memory of their mothers Elaine Lois
Lowenthal and Geraldine Rissman.

Meeting of the Mind is conducted by
Dave Weiner and Sidney Miller. It is a
program dealing with local, national
and international events which help
seniors better understand the world

Holds Classes

Congregation Bais Chabad of
Farmington Hills and Michigan Jewish
Institute will offer a class on
Introduction to Basic Talmudic and
Halachic-Concepts for college credit;
e does not have to be a college stu-
ent to attend. Rabbi Chaim Bergstein
teaches the class on Tuesday evening
from 8-9:30 p.m. at the synagogue,

CHaZaKaH
Music Program

CHaZaKaH, the Mat Shalom
Synagogue seniors group, will host a
program by the Rose Morgan Choral
Group 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18,
at the synagogue.
Following a dairy pre-Chanukah
lunch and candlelighting ceremony, the
ensemble will perfrom songs featuring

Yiddish and Hebrew music and popular
show tunes.
There is a $5 charge for members
and a $6 non-member fee. Send checks

Dreidel Dance

Adat Shalom Synagogue will celebrate
Chanukah with a Dreidel Dance 6-8
p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the syna-
gogue. Star Trax will provide the musi-
cal entertainment. Cantor Howard
Glantz will lead Chanukah songs.
A light dairy supper, including latices,
will be available for purchase. There is
no charge for entertainment.

Holiday Boutique

Temple Kol Ami will host a holiday
