The Mitzvah Chapter of Jewish Women
International will host the December
birthday party for residents 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Jewish
Federation Apartments in Oak Park.
The teen theater troupe Tikkun Olam
will perform a Chanukah play; light
refreshments will be served.

Volunteers are being sought for the
annual Volunteer Extravaganza,
Thursday, Dec. 25.
Starting from the Max M. Fisher
Building, groups will head out to agen-
cies and institutions around the metro
area to comfort the elderly, fix up a
shelter, serve food to the hungry, per-
form other tasks or relieve workers who
wish to spend the holiday with their
families.
Individuals, families, children and
grandparents are invited. Registration
deadline is Monday, Dec. 8. For an

The 14th annual Holiday Bazaar spon-
sored by the Temple Beth El Sisterhood
will be 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7,
at the temple.
Admission to the bazaar is $1 and
there is free parking on the temple lot.
Light lunches will be available. Proceeds
will benefit sisterhood programs.

al family Chanukah party 12:30-2:30

There will be a performer, games and
goodie bags for all children and lunch
