Elena Jill Lindner and Marc Oliver
Cohen were married recently at the
Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas,
Nev. Rabbi Mel Hecht officiated.
Mrs. Cohen, daughter of Anita and
Michael Lindner of Las Vegas, former-
ly of BlOomfield Hills, is working in
Cleveland, Ohio, as a legal assistant
for attorney Daniel F. Lindner while
pursuing a master's degree in educa-
tion through Kent State University.
Mr. Cohen, son of Gilda and Ted
Cohen of Shaker Heights, Ohio, is
quality assurance manager for
Associated Steel Corp. in Warrensville
Heights, Ohio.

Lori Kaftan and Marc Barron recently
were married at the Ritz-Carlton
hotel, Dearborn. Rabbi M. Robert
Syme and Rabbi Harold Loss of
Temple Israel officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Mel Kaftan of Bloomfield
Hills. The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Guy Barron, also from
Bloomfield Hills.
Brooke Mossman and Jennifer
Passer were the maids of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lisa Menuck, Susan
Deutsch, Linda Lutz, Karen Berns,
Rachel Kogan, Barri Greenberg and
Linda Robinson.
The best man was Eric Barron,
brother of the groom. Ushers were
Jeffrey Kaftan, Tony Sosnick, Don
Stewart, Scott Romero, Scott Berger
and John Bartos. Also participating in
the ceremony was the bride's grandfa-
ther Milton Kogan.
The newlyweds honeymooned in
Thailand and now live in
Birmingham.
