Fourteen voices to be exact, unac-
companied by instrumentals. This
year, eight of them are new.
In its fourth year, the University of
Michigan's Jewish a cappella group is
going strong, with a new CD out and
fall concert scheduled for tomorrow
night.

traditional and modern Jewish music.
Tunes range from Ladino folk
melodies to Hebrew prayer to mod-
ern Israeli pop songs.
"We sing basically anything that
has any Israeli or Judaic content, in
Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino, from
all over the world, in all different
genres," says Coreen Duffy, the
group's musical director and a senior
from West Bloomfield. "Anytime
anyone in the group has an idea that's
good, someone will arrange it."
The diversity of genres is reflected
in the group's CD, Don't Look Back,
